Our Members

The Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association is a non-profit trade association established in 1953. The Association’s membership includes 37 of the 38 health care institutions in Alaska. This includes acute care hospitals, behavioral health facilities, assisted living facilities (Alaska Pioneer Homes), and nursing homes.

This rich composition of private, federal, state and tribal health care facilities enables ASHNHA to provide a balanced viewpoint on important health care policy matters. ASHNHA membership also includes Associate Members and Allied Member organizations. A list of Alaska hospitals and nursing homes acute, long-term care, and swing beds was updated February 2018 and can be downloaded.
