Mentors for Quality (M4Q)

ASHNHA recognizes the value of developing peer-to-peer networks between hospitals to improve care for Alaskans. The Mentors for Quality Program concept derived from the need to provide a platform for hospital-to-hospital learning and sharing in order to accelerate the implementation of best practices at every level, from the front-line to leadership. At the heart of it, mentoring is simply a partnership between someone with vast experience and someone who wants to learn more in order to better achieve professional goals. With that basic idea, the Mentors for Quality program formalizes the mentoring relationship by providing structure and assisting pairs to implement specific improvement projects at their facilities.
